Can't progress past VEGA facility
In the room where you have to destroy the four coolant units. Destroyed all four, cleared the place out. It still thinks I'm in combat, and won't allow me to progress, even though I have thoroughly checked and found no enemies. Restarted the entire game, same problem. Beat the game once before and never encountered this issue.

are you sure you took out all 4? There might also be an enemy hiding somewhere

Yes, all four definitely taken out. And I spent a good 10-15 minutes looking to see if an enemy was still there. Seeing as I progressed past this part in a previous playthrough, I don't think the issue is due to me missing something.

Don't blow up the last 2 in rapid succession. This triggers a bug where the scripting thinks they are still instact.

Blow 3, then kill all the demons. Then blow the 4th.

I actually trigger this bug intentionally to see how quickly I can blow up all 4. So far I have it where I can get three rockets in the air by the time I'm moving to the fourth. (Shoot at bottom one from powerjump, fire another shot at other side, air detonate both rockets and blow 2, keep running along the wall to shoot straight, then turn left and shoot the last one on the opposite side of the room.)

Check Ultra-Nightmare speedrunners or just speedrunners in general on YouTube. If you are playing on a non-permadeath difficulty and you got locked, reload the checkpoint. Avoid this scenario by destroying the tubes one by one.
If you are on an Ultra-Nightmare run, either you cheese your way out via bypassing the lockdown by Gauss jump (that's where the speedrun videos help you) or force close Doom with Alt f4 and your run will be started from the beginning of Vega Central Processing.

Use the nearby jump pad and the Guass rifle to jump yourself over the barrier, it will fix the issue, and the combat music will leave when you finish the next engagement

They still haven’t fixed it, happened to me yesterday. I don’t think they’re ever gonna fix it
