DOOM
Rendering mode?
Please help me decide, I played through the game twice now and now I want to mix things up a bit and try the other rendering modes.

Which one should I choose? I played with default settings twice.

So its either gritty or cinematic. I kind of like the cinematic, the bloom is awesome, but the black bars are really♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥me off. Gritty is really bright and the atmosphere of the game just goes out of the window when you set it.

So which one should I choose?

IDIOT!
Calm down dummy, there is really no need to get your knickers in a twist. Try and behave yourself.

I don't really like either option over default.

So I choose neither.

I am calm. You are obviously brain dead.
It's blatantly obvious you're either on your period or sand has been clocked up your vagigi for quite some time. Be a dear and remove yourself from this dicsussion or Iam going to have to put you into a naughty corner.

I use gritty because it actually makes the graphics look more like a proper PC game, detailed and sharp in comparison to default which is very cartoony in my opinion.

But you say gritty is too bright? For that I simply changed my brightness/Contrast/color in Nvidia control panel to get the atmosphere back while maintaining the sharpness of gritty.

Yeah, but if you try the other settings, especially gritty, the picture is much crispier, albeit too bright. With default it's all blurry, especially the farther objects...I have really tough time to decide. If the cinematic rendering mode would've been without those black bars then I would play with those.

Exactly what I was thinking, the default settings is a bit blurry imo.

Great tip I might fiddle with the nvidia cp settings a bit to get it right. Thank you

It seems you've been removing yourself already, that's great, please continue.

Both suck. Use reshade and make it look how you want.

That looks quite interesting. Do you have experience using it?

Me and thousands upon thousands of others. Verified for sure. Try it out :)

Ok well hold oon I've never used it in DOOM as the game just looks amazing stock. However I've used it on several other games. You can do awesome things w/it though. I just used it recently in Fallout 4. Look how drastic of a change this is and it took like 5 mins to do
