MSI Afterburner screen capture does not work

Running MSI 290X Lightning, Windows 7 x64, Crimson Edition 16.5.3

Any else have this issue?

Have not experienced any crashes or issues so far, just haven't been able to capture screenshots with Afterburner. Steam's screenshot feature works just fine but I use a single key hotkey (F9) for Afterburner and that works better for me across Steam and Origin.

Most programs have issues hooking into the game. That's probably the issue here.
Programs that do work are OBS, Nvidia Shadowplay (if you play windowed mode) And Mirillis Action.

I'n my experience Mirillis Action works great with the game, screenshots, recording and live streams.

GTX 780 here, using MSI Afterburner crashes my doom but it works in any other game perfectly.
