HOW DOES HE SWITCH WEAPONS?

I think there are 9 weapons in DOOM single player, and this guy seems able to switch to any of them on command. All he does is these incredible combos. rocket + super shotgun + regular shotgun. bam bam bam. then gauss rifle, bam, machine gun, plasma gun's stun grenade, back shotguns, bam bam bam etc etc etc...Just go to 45:00 It's amazing. He uses at least 5 weapons at a time. How does he do it?

Yes you can. With a MMO mouse I think you could even bind them all to the mouse, but is that really how he does it?

He's not some mmo scrub. He binds it to the keyboard like a normal person. 1, 2, 3, 4, q, e, z, x & v.

PC gaming has one big advantage - keyboard and mouse. On keyboard, by the way, there are many buttons, and... these buttons happen to be bindable in most of the PC games. If it is not a bad console port. So you can have weapon switch keys all around WASD. This is very useful in such games where you have 4+ weapons.

The video is a glitchthrough and not a walkthrough, just exploiting the actual game play through glitches, just like people did when the ps3 came out through home. As for weapon changes so quickly you can have a mouse with various side buttons you can allocate which is alot easier than using mmw or #'s.

Damn, I'm constantly switch weapons all the time. Even more than this dude. For example, on bigger enemies: plasma primary, stun, switch to super shotgun done etc.

I use this binds:
q = rocket
3 = super shotgun
wheelup = gauss
wheeldown = rifle
side mouse button 1 = plasma
side mouse button 2 = shotgun
left shift = minigun
