FInal Boss Glory Kill Glitch! - Cant Kill

Well, thhis has been a LOOOONG evening so far..

Have managed to kill the final bossaround 15 times now and EVERY time i get the the last bit where you are supposed to glory kill it. it dosent let me?!.

just lays there with its head glowing orange for the glory kill but it dosent let me.

i have tried restarting, resinstalling, killing with full bfg ammo, no bfg ammo, NOTHING seems to work.

Is anyone else having this issue and is there a way around it?. i cant stand trying to kill this thing again and again forever :-(

No worries actually, tried plugging in a gamepad and carried out the glorykill on that instead of mouse and keyboard :-)

I can't glory kill the final boss as the face won't even go flashy. instead I have a stunned Spider Mastermind, with no health bar, that still manages to rotate to always face me, but without a flashy face I can't finish the b!tch off on gamepad, keyboard or mouse. This game is still broken since release day for me.

I have the long range glory kill rune already equiped and fully upgraded, as well as the rune for enemies to be stunned for longer (also fully upgraded). I can't initiate the glory kill as the game bugs out and there is no flashy face. All I can do is rage quit. This has been a problem since the day I bought the game.
