Curiosity: Can you change the color of the Blood?

Red seems kinda meh no offense lol. It just looks kinda boring. Dark Blue? Green? They're demons for crying out loud lol.

I'm just curious whether its possible to modify this game at all for a different feel

No, but its technically possible. Most games in the modern age use a shader to apply textures and these shaders have multiple passes with different pixel and fragment programs to bring out different features such as lighting and AA.

If you are crafty enough, and the shaders compile at run time, you could technically just re-write the pixel shader to a blue value without changing a single line of code..
