Where is the save file located?
So I heard a lot of people suffered from lost data and I'm hoping to mitigate that issue by performing a backup, but I can't find that folder. Can anybody point me to it?

I searched it, it only showed it for Classic Doom for some reason.
And yes, I tried Doom 2016 and Doom 4.

this is the exact location for me on Windows 10

C:\Users\robpc\Saved Games\id Software\DOOM\base

Sorry, I meant Google only showed me Classic Doom. I found the save folder.

Is there a way to change the save file location? I have two hard drives. E has 1 tb and C (The drive the game saves to) has only 67 gb.

If anyone's using the Doomsday engine, it's a bit buried:

"C:\Users\(Your User Name Here)\Documents\Doomsday Frontend\runtime\savegames\doom2" :steamfacepalm:
