Help! Can´t open map in the game

How do I open the map (without an automap terminal)? Whenever I receive a new weapon or item it says "More information with the [NONE] key". Obviously there is no specific key specified to open the map or show weapon information - unfortunately I cannot find these functions in the list of the keyboard settings - how is that possible?

It is TAB by default. Seems like you rebound it to something else. Just reset the keybinding to default and then re-edit them.

Necro: just struggled with this myself. For any future queries, it's not a bindable option in the Controls Menu so I also had to reset keys and then not bind Tab to anything else.
