Ammo for BFG?

I haven't come across any ammo for the BFG. Advice? :)

bfg ammo? hell i missed 90% of the powerups until i played it on UV, then i started looking for them.

There is also a rune that once upgraded, has a chance of dropping BFG ammo on glory kills with chainsaw ;)

In the later areas, there's usually BFG ammo in the arenas and before the large boss fights.

They place just enough BFG ammo for you to use it at every major fight zone. So don't worry about using a shot here and there, just save it for when you see the big bads spawn in.

Wrong, it drops from any kill.
I had bfg ammo dropped from killing enemies using a bfg lol.
