DOOM
No sound on bluetooth headphones.
In DOOM I don't have sound when using bluetooth headphones but when I connect them with a regular cable it works.

I don't have such issue in other games or programs, just this one.

I didn't find any configuration for the audio output device in Options.

Suggestions?

I had the same issue and found that windows 10 has a default configuration enabled in bluetooth headsets that causes audio quality drop down, and in the case of Doom not sound at all is played.

To fix it:

1. Cick on window's start menu (or just hit windows button) and start typing "devices" (no quotes).
2. Then click on "Devices and printers".
3. Right click on your bluetooth device (Example: LG HBS770) then select "properties".
4.. A properties dialog is displayed, go to "Services" tab.
5. Disable "Handsfree Telephony"
6. hit "Apply", then "OK".
7. Wait few seconds until new configuration takes place.
8. If your headset is not connected, connect it.

IF YOU DO NOT RECEIVE AUDIO AFTER RE-CONNECTING:
make sure it is your default Playback device:
9. Right click on the volume icon (usually at the bottom right of your tasks bar) and select "Playback devices"
10. Right click on the name of your headset and select "Set as Default Device", then hit "Apply" and "OK".

And that's it. At least it worked on my PC (Windows 10) and my headset (LG HBS-770)

You know what. People like you amaze me. Here I am 2 years later searching for this problem, and you have the fix! How the heck you even found it is beyond me, but thank you, thank you, thank you.
technically its a fix, but please, read my higher comment. gl.
thank you very much reallyyy
So the fix posted on page 1 did not work for me, but it pointed to a solution that did. I have the Jabra 65Ts and when they are connected I have "Jabra Elite 65t Hands-Free" and "Jabra Elite 65t Stereo" in my Sound list (where you can set default device, etc) - I noticed that the Hands-Free was being switched to when i started up the game, so I simply disabled it from that menu and it stuck to using the Stereo, which made the game sounds come through as normal.

This solution also works for the same issue in Doom Eternal
Funny how this helped me around 4 years later for mood eternal. Thanks.

Thanks!! Had the same problem and it is working now.

On my windows 10 version it was slightly different though. It doesn't find devices and printers directly when I type it in the search box for whatever reason (not even when I type it exactly). I have windows 10 Pro UK 64 but set to US english. Anyway :
  1. In the windows search box type bluetooth
  2. Bluetooth and other devices settings
  3. Then on the right select the "Devices and Printers"
  4. the rest is the same as above
