[SPOILER!] Final boss plot hole?

What I didn't understand about the Spider Mastermind was that it was fully decked out in armor and laser weapons and whatnot, while the entire game (if you read the data logs and looked at the scenery in the levels) tries to explain why the demons seem to be armed with extremely dangerous weapons developed BY the UAC itself.

The Revenants, for example, are humans where they had implants grafted into their skulls to allow the shoulder-mounted rockets to fire at will. The Lazarus Wave made sure the equipment was imbedded into his (or her) flesh while the subject was transformed into a demon. The Cyberdemon (or Baalgar demon) was first discovered as a lifeless husk given new life thanks to the incredible Argent- and UAC technology.

Having said all of that, why does the Spider Mastermind seem to have gotten the same treatment? When you read the data log about the Spider Mastermind, it specifically states that the UAC has never encountered an Aranea Imperatrix (the "actual" name of a Spider Mastermind) before, so the UAC never could've modified the demon to begin with.

Spidermastermind in this version is "coalition" between 2 beings. The demon and in this case Olivia, who has robotic implants. Hence why he has the implants.

At least that is how I understood it from the pda log.

Demons are hard workers.

The Imps gathered all pieces of scrap of broken weapons and armor left behind by the Doom Marine.

The Pinkies pushed the gears into place.

The Revenants welded and clicked it all together, like they did their own bodies.

The Hell Barons lifted the giant Spider Mastermind with their brute strength, and placed him on top of the new Metal G- first ever giant gun mechanism created by the Demons.

It's all their own work. They knew they had to go all out to defeat that arrogant green bastard.

Not entirely, the demon has fused with her, but I believe that the demon is the dominant one in that amalgamation.

Tho it is just how I see it, might not be true whatsoever lol. But, the pda log is hinting at something similiar.

Yeah, I also think that'll be the case. It kind of bugged me since I finished the game today, so I thought to make a thread about it :)
