DOOM
Campaign locked to 30 fps?
Game starts at 60, as soon as I select campaign, it immediately locks to 30 - regardless of setting for vsync.

Anyone else having this issue? Running in fullscreen at 4k.

The game will lock to 30 if your sytem cannot run it at ~60 on the settings you have selected.

It's called vsync. Either turn it off or turn on adaptive vsync. You can also leave vsync on and turn down the graphics settings so your system can run the game consistently above 60 FPS.

Educate yourself if you are going to game on PC.

thanks ba the issue is not that simple, it appears to be bugged. It will start at 60, then hardlock 30 regardless of settings (meaning even on lowest settings, which can easily hit 60 based on multiple benchmarks with my card)

Stays at 60fps for me constantly.

Same. Same card too.

I had to mess with the vsync setting and restart the game for it to unlock my FPS. You should be hitting 60 FPS with zero issues. Dont go by the menu FPS.

Turn off vsync in game.
Shut the game down.
Go to your GPU control panel and enable adaptive vsync and turn on triple buffering.
Boot the game and see what happens.

It's good that you signed your post cause otherwise I wouldn't have a clue whose post I was reading.

It looks like triple buffering is doing the trick. Thanks for the suggestion.

And your ridiculous response to something so trivial and habitual for many makes it even better.

Grow up!

It usually fluctuates for me... but always above 30fps. And my processor is pretty old at this point.
