Death from Above- Baron of Hell Challenge

Anyone have tips for this particular challenge? I've tried jumping down from a ledge on top of the baron, launching off a jump pad and coming down on top, and double jumping, and i can't seem to perform this specific glory kill. Is there a particular way i need to position myself while above?

Directly above, look straight down, should definitely happen then

I just stunned them next to something I could climb up right away, leap, look right down at them and mash the melee

Get real close, and just double jump while looking down at them. You'll get the hang of it. No need for a ledge.

yea, i know how the mechanic works, just keep getting a normal glory kill. i'll try everyone's suggestions!

Don't forget that you can use runes to keep the stagger longer (and one to make a stagger more likely rather than killing outright)

Use those lift portal thingies. Bait them near them and use the assault rifle so you don't accidentially kill them. Once the glory kill glow triggers, immediately use the jump pad to get high enough.

Took me tons of tries. Even when you are coming down right over their heads it won't always trigger. Patience and luck is the key.

yea that's exactly what i was trying to do, but i just couldn't get it to trigger. i'll keep plugging away. just hate restarting the level because of that ♥♥♥♥♥♥ lost soul challenge.

In addition to the ledge and double-jump suggestions, try to aim for their back.

Also, the BFG works for the Lost Soul trick shot.
