Yeah, looks normal to me. For some reason id Software makes games where the graphics look like everything is made out of plastic. That's how I remember Doom 3 and Quake 4 looking as well.

Looks like you enabled the nightmare graphics as well.:)

just save a screen shot with F12 then view it in your profile and copy and paste the link found in the top left corner.

Max out AA, and crank up Antisoptic to 16x.

in some areas the game looks good but in others it seems pretty bad. Wolfenstein TNO looked far better imo

Like every id game, there is a random spattering of very low res textures, decent textures, and high quality ones. The effect can be a little jarring in spots... you seem to have found a couple really low resolution areas.

Here's some good ones -

If you dont own a good screen i think that is far more damaging to a game then turning settings up or down, even the BenQ XL2411 (144hz) with its "washed" out colors looks 10 times better then any standard monitor i have ever seen.

Also screen shots from my experience dont look a third as good as the actual image on the screen itself. If you have a 980ti and not a good 144hz screen you are doing it wrong, with how good they actually are compared to average 60hz screen theres really no need for a IPS unless its a monitor on the side.
