But don't worry, end level and start again from menu. It really takes fracture of time second time and you can quit when you get you collectable. All upgrades and points still count to that campaing.
ho great, i was affraid that i must complete the level again! will do that, thanks again
and does it save as soon as you get a secret so can then just leave the level without waiting for next save point?
the secrets, upgrades and upgradepoints will be saved instandly when uve got it ;)
but im not rly sure about that because ive played the whole map again because its rly fun :D
just try it dude. there is nothing u could damage on ur savegame
The only thing that won't work you can't have more checkpoints beside your main one. So if you replay the level you cannot quit and return. Same goes for CTD, you will need to start mission replay from start.
You will not get every challenge and collection your first level playthough. You will have to restart the level from the main menu under "Missions." It saves progress made for each however, so you will not have to repeat as you complete them. Certian levels are designed with a more linear path system; thus you can't return in the direction you came. This is why Mission Selection is available to the user.
it's easier to understand when you try it first time. Everything is just "unlockable" here. Weapons, upgrades, runes, masteries, upgrade points and such are saved in one "file". And "continue" checkpoint is completelly separate one. They don't depends on each other at all.
So just replay mission at any time and you will see what happens.
And NEVER ever reset your level for whatever reason. It's always better to finish it and then replay it to do what you wanted to do when you though you need level restart. If you miss collectible at beginning. Just finish the level, replay, pick your collectible, exit and continue the game.
Also good for masteries unlocking and such if you can't find good opportunity to do them in later levels but you already want them where you are.
It's actually good way to do things. No regrets you missed something. No destroyed saves because you reloaded something and it rewrites your quick/autosave, no lost progress etc. I like it.
except if you restart the current mission you lose anything that you got between the start of the current mission and the continue point.
