Titan Realm Door Glitch

I need some help.
Playing Doom and I am on Titan's Realm.
Right after jumping down the dead titan's throat and clearing the next few rooms.
I get to the one with the Elite Guard and the Field Drone.
I kill everything, then go and activate the skull pedestal.
That should open the door to the field drone and the door to the next segment of the map..... but they are both still closed off....
The ♥♥♥♥ am I doing wrong?

I can't remember exactly, but I don't think that pedestal opens the gate you think, it unlocks a gate a few paths back and lets a mancubus through. You end up coming on the field drone from the other direction iirc. That level blends together in my head, though, so I may be off. It ends up being arena after arena and I can't remember the order. Crazy fun though.

Either way, this secton was done in the live plays a few weeks ago. Just youtube a playthrough and it'll get you all the way to the 2nd or 3rd big fight with the barons.

I walked back to the drop point, found no Mancubus and no openings.
There are no other activators and the doors are still shut....

See if this guy does something different. I made it through this level a few hours ago, and didn't hit any bugs, but was disoriented I think at the location you're talking about.

I did a hard reset and it fixed it, the second skull activator never got revealed.

I'm having the same issue. When you said "hard reset", does that mean you just restarted the level?

This map does seems glitched, I've gone all the way thru and still can't get that field drone doorway to open, and yet my map shows I have been there, I think at the start of the mission?

Im having problems in that level too, in my case when I discovered the classic level entrance. I found the lever, then the secret level and inside it i clickd two times too fast I think a classic button and now the action button stoped working everywhere. Classic level elevators are not reacting to 'E' and on the normal doom nothing is reacting, the level is blocked, no enemies, no way to continue... I feel i need to restart

Replying to an old question, but still might be helpful for others.. Some enemy spawns that are mandatory for the blue skull to appear are triggered by picking up the armor piece in the area around 6:45 in the video posted.. I ran around for several minutes before picking it up because I had almost full armor and didn't want to use it yet..
