30FPS Cap? *FIXED*

I have a GTX 960M 4GB and i can run games on normal-ultra with 60fps no problem, i've searched around and it feels like im the only one with a 30FPS lock no matter how much i change the settings...
Can anyone help me out?

Intel(R) Core(TM) i5-63000HQ CPU @2.30GHz
8GB Ram
GTX 960M 4GB

tbh idk how it got fixed i've just been repeatedly messing with V-sync in-game and Nvidia C.P and it never changed but after an hour i go back into it and im getting 35-50FPS on ultra no settings motified even V-sync is on .-. idk but im just happy its fixed lol Thanks again for everyone who helped!

Do you have Vsync on?

Do you have v-sync on? if your framerate drops below 60 it'll cap at 30.

Your computer is not capable of 60fps on higher settings. With vsync on it will default to half that or even less.

Turn off vsync and it should be better, but with screen tearing. Or just play on settings your laptop is capable of, which means low..

OP probably has Vsync forced in the Nvidia Control Panel or something then.

because you are on weak laptop that has vsync locked on for some reason. If you disable vsync you should see your fps jumping all over the place.

If vsync is disabled in game and it is still locked at 30 and not budging you may have vsync locked in the drivers..

Is it 30 fps in the menu or ingame? The menu is capped, ingame shouldn't be.
