Laser Lab Trap - Totally Stuck :( [SPOILERS]
So I'm totally stuck on the bit where you get the BGF 9000.

I figured out you need to get on top of the capsule tha the BFG is in. But then the lasers cut me to shreds 30 seconds later.

I think I am supposed to shoot the platform the lasers are on but that only makes it drop immediately and kill me.

WTF are you supposed to do????

jump on one of the arms around the edge, and shoot the red lights around the bottom of the laser platform.
