Cannot get the Chainsaw back

Hello,
i'm playing the Single Player Campaign....at level 2 I get the Chainsaw from a corpse.
Then I got killed and closed game to Desktop.

Then I restarted Doom, and I reloaded into the last Checkpoint without Chainsaw in equip. I came back to the corpse, but no Chainsaw there. I'm going further with the game, and discovering new weapons but cannot find another Chainsaw anywhere.

Is it a bug, or I will find it in another place after?

did you click 'G' for get it? It's not the Q button

Can't tell you how many times my dumbass has pulld out the chainsaw instead of glory killing....

If you really didn't get it due to the crash, you'll be able to get it again later in the game.

I didn't use the BFG much because I found out late in the game that it's accessed with the 'T' button. It's a little confusing at first with the BFG and chainsaw not being in the weapon wheel/Q. But I guess they are special weapons that are not used as often as the others and maybe giving them their own keybindings is a user-centered design approach for making the weapon wheel a little less cluttered. :]

It's probably a muscle memory thing from playing other games rather than you being a dumbass hehe
