Hi,

Cant find a setting for the refresh rate, it just goes to 60Hz. How can i change this?

Can your GPU maintain such FPS? Maybe that could be the isuue - if you have V-sync or sny other similar working fuction on and cannot maintain the desired FPS, it can automatically lock it at 60for example...

Unfortunatelly the Gme is still crashong for me so I had little chance to explore the setting in detail..

I gues you have minitor supporting this since you ask that question...

Same here. GTX 980 and i5 3560 @ 4.8GHz. I use the same settings as most games, that is V-Sync off in game. But it locks to a solid 60fps. First time a game has behaved like that. I use the same refresh settings on all games, but a game has never locked it's self to 60 with V-Sync off and G-Sync on. Coding.

Shouldn't complain though, it's a solid, like never drops below 60fps with high settings. But this
game wastes my expensive g-sync 144Hz refresh monitor.

Use bordeless windows then change back to fullscreen atm the game got a glitch were it wil set your refresh rate back to 60 hz instead of 120 or 144 hertz.

its locked in menus above 60 in game i was confused too. also if you cant get over 100 fps in this game i dont even... you keep insulting AMD gpus yet im on a 390x getting 150FPS on mix of Ultra/High without any problems while streaming.

Mine seems to be working with my 144hz monitor - the framerate w/ vsync on tops out at 144fps and hovers near there most of the time w/ all the settings maxed out.

EVGA GTX970 FTW+ 1.5ghz
FX6300 6 core 4.5ghz
8gb ram

The game runs incredibly smooth. It's a real treat to play an oldschool fps that runs so flawlessly. Nice to see that Id worked really hard to make this a polished game.

+ 1 to D4rKy and Chris. Interesting info D4, and Chris, I experience exactly the same as you re: menus well over 100fps. Game starts and bang, 60fps locked.
I wouldn't mind as settings are pretty much maxed and the 60 really is a 100% always at 60fps.

But it negates the benefit of haveing a 144fps G-Sync monitor which I paid a lot for.

That's interesting and good to hear. Have you used any unusual menu settings or something?
It just doesn't happen for me, but you have cracked it somehow.

BTW: It still looks great maxed at a solid 60 - but I want more!!

Check NVCP. Set "Preferred Refresh Rate" to "highest available".

My monitor is a 144Hz monitor. The v-sync setting in the game is set to adaptive, but the game doesn't really get above 140 fps from what I've noticed.

However, in the menu screens, regardless of setting, I get 60 fps... so perhaps you're only looking at the framerate on the menu screens?

Yeah, always do with this game. Double checked.

But I'm sure D4 (post #6) has solved it. It''s an odd glitch as he says. Probably easily patchable, and he even gave a work around. Thanks D4rKY.

yeah unless you have a 980 Ti or better you will get 120+ fps on avrage thankfully I have G-Sync so I wouldn't know the diffrence.

Dunno - I think it probably has to do with my Nvidia control panel settings. Not sure which one, cuz I haven't messed with it in awhile. I'll try to figure it out when I add a custom profile for Doom.

I kinda misspoke when I said it worked at 144hz w/ vsync on - weirdly, just putting it to "on" instead of "adaptive" gives me half my refresh rate, but "adaptive" has it clearly locked at 144. When I turned vsync off, it went slightly over 144
