Press F12 on your Keyboard. When you exit the game, Steam will show you the screenshots from your game session and you will also be able to open them directly on your HDD.
if you read the doom console [ using ~ ] it is said that image is saved in :
C:\Users\xxxxx\Saved Games\id Software\DOOM\base\screenshots
but at end of session steam tool is showing a window to decide about images ....and files are saved in :
c:\Steam\userdata\22265126\760\remote\379720\screenshots
one thing is very weird about that : the image saved by doom.exe in C:\Users\xxxxx\Saved Games\id Software\DOOM\base\screenshots are 100% black....
strange , is not it ?
I think its Vulkan. The Steam screenshot function doens't work with the API. I get the same problem when trying to capture video with Razer Cortex. I don't use Fraps because it kills the frame rate too much.
Shadowplay, or whatever they call it now, definitely works. You have to enable desktop capture. You also have to alt tab to desktop, then start recording, then alt tab back to game (it still work with real fullscreen, not neccessary to use borderless, but it's not an issue).
If it's AMD, then I don't know...
For AMD Mirillis Action works really good with Vulkan, in my experience. Not sure about Relive yet but its like shadowplay for AMD.
I've tried Shadowplay. When I pressed the hotkey I had assigned it didn't do anything so I gave up on that. Will try again maybe I missed something when setting it up.
