i agree you can go to microsofts site and they let you download windows 10 for free but if you go to windows 7 page they require you to enter a product ID

Official support for 7 is ending, that's why.

You can download Windows 10 (E.g. .iso), but you will still need to activate a valid product code within the allotted window.

I think you just want it to breach 9000 for the obvious connection.

To be fair its not hard for it to be derailed, considering the controversy and the obvious single-sided opinions of either parties.

Subjective based conversation will always result in revolt, its the people who argue their opinions across to no avail that have a lack of intelligence.

Then again in these situations often objective fact is ignored for pure idealism.

Such a rhetorical debate deserves whatever comeuppance it wreaks. :3

Oh, definitely. To reach that would be pretty hilarious, the silly twist of it all is I'm not sure if we're actually helping the Linux cause by snubbing it ironically; though I seriously doubt that Bethesda has ever looked upon these threads.

Wouldn't it be the greatest irony of the Windows "Defender" 's ('scuse the pun) to actually be Linux's saviour in their quest for world domination?

But that irony would never be appreciated anyway, cute thought though. :D

Never said it was the only professional platform. I said that it was used by professionals all over the world. You're quite poor at reading comprehension for someone who gloats of intelligence.

Also, I assure you, I have made and kept plenty of money in my young life. As a matter of fact, I anonymously donated over $2,000 in GPUs this past holiday season to select people on Steam. Have thousands of dollars in workstation and gaming software at my home that I own just to own.

Most of my early life success, came from business that began on Windows NT and Visual Basic/VS.
