Why is IGN going to give DOOM a 7.1? All CoD games get 9/10 or higher.

I think this game got a 7.1 because of short campaign and bad multiplayer. if they get rid of multiplayer this game would have been at least 8 or more

Sadly they do. A 7.1/10 will destroy the reputation of DOOM, leading to less sales.....SOOO many casuals buy games based only on IGN reviews.

Because DOOM was too fast for them. They need their full regen health, sprinting (still slow), and aiming down sights.

Because its IGN and they are the laziest game reviewers out there. And I think they get paid off from other devs to. Purely speculation. if you look at their reviews for other titles though, you'll see the same thing - ♥♥♥♥♥♥ critic reviews compared to other businesses. you are better off looking through the Steam Reviews, Gamestop, Bestbuy, etc. from the actual player base - not ones like IGN who get paid their hourly wage (and than some) to write a review lol.

Their review was hilarious. They praised the campaign, then mentioned 2 things they didn't like and slapped a 7.1 on it. They complained about the arena rooms. I personally love the arena rooms. Most intense moments in the game for me
