( It's not as much story driven, here the story is bare bone only serving to move the game forward, the focus is all on that old school fast paced run and gun gameplay)
Halo has better reviews though
It deserves to suffocate on it's own heart, although it's a different bodypart entirely that I'd like to chop off and stick down it's throat.
Even Halo fans hate Halo 5.
Doom has 93% positive reviews, halo5 doesn't have that much positive feedback
what about halo 4...is DOOM better than Halo 4?
IGN is going to give DOOM a 7.1
Haven't played Doom yet, but it should be. Halo 4 was a great game, but was released on the previous-gen and has some serious limitations. Doom should easily be able to improve on it.
Halo 4 would be my favourite Halo game. It was just so generous - mountains of content, and much of it FreeLC.
oh man, IGN is far from being a reliable source, they gave 10 out of 10 to the witness, that should let you know how much ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ they spew out
it's the same website that gave Joust 10 out of 10 in 1991, their rating system is crap and has always been
One guy, i.e., the reviewer, gave it a 7.1. Why does that one random guy on the internet influence you more than some other random guy on the internet here in the Steam forums?
Story isn't the focus in the campaign here, it's all about gore and shooting demons in style in non-linear levels and that's where the fun comes from (and there's exploration too). If you like this type of campaign, you should absolutely play DOOM.
Halo 5's camapign is built around co-op and it has fun sandbox level design. While the story in Halo 5 is central to the campaign, I thought it was the weakest for a Halo game.
You may aswell have Jack Thompson review a game. And I mean the American Jack Thompson, of GTA Lawsuit fam - not the Australian actor Jack Thompson.
