How do I remove the 60fps cap?
Since the search didn't answer this I'm hoping someone can. I checked both Video and Advanced settings but no option to change the fps cap.

I have around 130 to 200 fps according to the games stats list you can pull up and the steam overlay says the same...so no idea why you are capped.

did you turned off vsync?

I noticed I was capped at 30 running ultra graphics and with vsync set to "on"

Turned them way down and turned off vsync and now I'm hitting 70-100-ish.

Still trying to figure out these video settings...

I have V-Sync turned off in game and in nvida control panel. I am using the in game statistics which are showing I'm capped at 60fps. Not sure what else to do to get rid of this cap.

Guys there is a bug. Go to windowed mode and go back to fullscreen.

Same here. I haven't not tried turning off Gsync but Ill do that now just to see what happens.

do you get more than 60fps in other games? Gsync would only cap it to 60fps if your monitor is 60Hz right?

If you have an AMD card with Power efficiency toggle in Crimson make sure it is set to off or your frames will be very adversely affected. Once off, your gpu will tear through it,. Otherwise there is no fps cap. Check your cards control panel, afterburner fps limit if you have it running, and thats about all I can think of.

If you have an Nvidia card make sure vsync is not set to adaptive or on in the control panel.

Edit: Just seen yr screenshot so it must be a setting you still have on in Nvidia control panel or any other overlay.

980Ti running 365.19 turned GSync off, refresh rate is set at 100Hz, VSync off. Still capped at 60fps.

Why turn g-sync off?

All my other games run fine, no fps cap just Doom since I tried to play it today for the first time.

Why turn g-sync off?

It was just a test. I've turned it back on as I normally have it.
