Im using blutooth headphones ...they work fine with every game and win 10 no probs but for some weird reason i get no sound with DOOM.
so just to test I turned my headphones off and KABOOM iv now got sound..
DOOM + blutooth headset = no sound
DOOM - blutooth headset = sound
this is a weird bug and in my 30 yrs of gaming iv never come across it
Hope this helps someone :)
Doom don't like when you have over 48000hz. If you fixed it because it was the headphone ok but everyone else who doesnt have sounds or where the music cut off sometimes its that problem. Some people have the game running faster than it should be. Same problem.
Switching to 48000hz will fix the problem in most case.
if you are using a 2.5 speaker jack, it will be set as speakers.....Using HDMI you're television is shown in the list.....right click and set according to you're set up.
this has gotten me a couple of times
24000 seems to work fine though
Anything over ;) Guess 240000 works ok ;p
1) Go to sound
2) Right-Click on Speaker
3) Properties
4) Spatial Sound
5) Select Spatial Sound Format: Windows Sonic for Headphones
6) Check: Turn in 7.1 virtual surround Sound
I tried everything I was in forums, never saw this approach before
Might help :)
HEy man!
Thanks a lot! That was the solution!
Great!
Tried everything else and this fixed it for me. Thank you!
