Blackscreen bug (SPOILERS)
So, there in the end of the Argent Tower level (SPOILERS AHEAD) there is a countdown to explosion after Olivia Pearce jumped to open the portal to hell.

White flash of the explosion and the black screen. At first I thought that black screen is a part of the cutscene or whatever else, yet, I sat about 3-4 minutes in front of my screen and nothing happened. On replay the problem persists.

So, what's supposed to happen there and how many people encountered that?

happen to me when t try go hidden room and just black screen bug too i need press restart button

Relieved to see someone else has this problem too. I hope there's a fix, I can't continue the game at this point. :c

same here 10 9 8 7 6 5 4 3 2 1 bsod i thought it was the new drivers so i rolled back

Nah, I just installed the new drivers to see if it'd help, didn't do ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥.

yep got the same prob, went to task manager and game stopped responding. always in the countdown when it explodes then black screen, can't continue game until this has been fixed

In case anyone is still having this issue, I was able to fix it by temporarily turning my graphical setting down from high to low then swithcing them back at the beggining of the next level.

Solved it via the strangest way.

I simply rebooted the system, then played Doom and it all ended with a "Level Finished" screen.

Playing it in windowed mode with CPU tracker in the background.
Once it hits the Black Screen my CPU useage goes from 79% to 7%...
So what ever is happening its not responding.

Go to settings and select WINDOWED...
Or push Alt+Enter

I'm seeing the same issue. I have a ticket in with Bethesda on it and I've been escalated to a specialized team for further investigation. Hopefully a fix will come soon!

My recommendation is to do the same! Let them know that there are more people seeing this issue! Go to this link and submit a ticket (be sure to include your DxDiag and MSInfo32 logs!)
