Music Sucks

[Beast King]

As someone who resently played thought Brutal DOOM and "Normal" DOOM, i gota say the music in this version of DOOM is a 3/10 for me, its a mash of metal rock with zero "peronality."
They could just as well be playing white noise
I cant distinguish one track from the next.. am litraly gona mute the music and go find the playlist for brutal DOOM to play in the background

I liked it but during my third play-through it started getting repetitive. Quake had the best soundtrack - I still listen to it on my ipod.

Different people, different tastes. Don't get me wrong, 80/90 metal is ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ awesome but this music does not fit the style of new Doom. On the other hand, try playing OG Doom with this soundtrack in background. Result? Doesn't fit. Mick Gordon did a fantastic job on soundtrack, because it gets ♥♥♥♥ done. It pumps you up and makes your adrenalinal glands erupt. Sure, you might just not enjoy this industrial/djent/metalstep soundtrack, that's completly fine but 90% of the playerbase loves it, because it's good.

No no... The guy was saying that typing an opinion and then passing it off stated as a fact... is idiotic. To which he did prove his point.

Whether you like the music or not, it's not a fact. It's subjective (which is fact). And the OP could've simply said he did not like the music and his point would have been made. But wanted to stir some ♥♥♥♥♥, because what is truly fact is that this game (music too) was very well received when even I thought it was going to fall flat.

But that's not really why we are posting are we? We are here to spew crap at one another for entertainment.

Yeah Planking was very well recieved in certain crowds and people died doing it is it good because it's popular just like an iPhone people liking it does not make it a good device anyone who has seen what's wrong with them will not own, Have you one got dust in your lightning connector buy this $50 brush.

Having opinions on music is what happens, when you're driving some people are like "I hate that song" or change station or unplug or scream some people scream "♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ THIS SONG OFF I HATE THIS FARRRKK" etc,A Comparison was provided which you seem to have ignored.

Spanish inquisition
Nazi SS

The OST of Doom 2016 consists of 56 different songs/themes. This also includes some alternate versions of certain pieces. It sounds quite diverse when listening to it without playing the game. I'd identify the genre as Industrial with a next gen polish.

Furthermore Doom 2016 is among the first titles to utilize pcm-audio (.wav) instead of compressed mp3. The increase of sound quality is very noticable and adds a lot to the overall experience.
