Whining noise from computer whenever VSync is turned off.
Everytime i have Vsync turned off, i hear this whining noise from one of my computer's fans or maybe even GPU fans. This happens when the game is loading. If i turn Vsync back to Adaptive, i hear no noise.

what gpu do you have? could be coil whine from the gpu as with vsync disabled your gpu is working very hard.

It's coil whine.

Some of the splash screens run at uncapped framerates, which will cause the whine.

It's nothing to worry about.

NVidia GTX 970 4GB. My framerate feels a lot smoother with Vsync turned off, but that damned noise is giving me a heart attack. Like something might explode at any second, lol. Also, the load screen animations tend to stutter a bit when this happens.

It is likely either Coil Whine or your GPU fans are spinning up to 100% or close to 100% as the GPU will of course be working harder since it will be producing video frames as fast as possible instead of it being capped to your monitor refresh rate.

GPU/CPU Fans can also produce a whine/ringing sound at certain speeds depending on the design of the fan.

Sounds like coil whine to me. Perfectly normal, but highly annoying.

You could lock your fan speed with MSI Afterburner so it doesn't make as much noise.
