Same here. Also the sound and music sounds hard clipped.

Last time I saw this problem was about 15 years ago O_o

It's some kind of timing error I think. From what I've read it still happens with overclocked AMD cpus sometimes.

Change Windows sound sampling rate to 48kHz.

It fixed the sound problems and the game running too fast. Thank you!
It's weird that the problem was intruduced after a patch for me or that its makes problems at all.

It is odd that more people have been seeing it since the patch - it has been a problem for others since release.

Today I tried to roll back to an earlier nvidia driver and that didnt make any difference at all. It was longshot and i suggest you use the latest one for best performance

Have you tried the sound setting as suggested?

Okay. It seem I found and fix the problem. It seem be two things who cause the "bug".

First one is the "soundbug" - you fix it with changing the sampling rate in windows to 44,1 or 48 kHz. The second one, the one who cause animations run "too fast" - my v-sync setting on was on "Adaptive" when I changed it to "On" animations run in normal speed, as they shuld.

Hope this help you all who have the same problem as I had. :)

Capi

Btw. It would be interesting to know if this is how it supposed to be or if this is an unfixed bug we found a work around to?

Dude, threads dead. No, the audio change was the fix. Let sleeping dogs lie, or rest, or repose.

Not trying to bump or anything, but audio change fixed it for me as well. How odd.
