Cheats not working

When I type god into the console I get an error that says dev mode is not enabled. I am only playing in campaign mode. Anybody else have this issue?

Thanks for answering him! He had to go through a million troll comments in order to get the answer. It was really infuriating reading this thread! I'm not the kind of person who makes fun of people for using cheats in singleplayer games - I believe people can enjoy their campaign experience the way they want but I highly recommend you play through the game without them first if you haven't already.

Otherwise just activate devmode by opening the console and type in devmode_enable 1

You must type in first devmode_enable 1 then GOD but be warned you will corrupt the slot you are using you WON' T be able to go back to same slot after devmode without using devmode.

Yes I agree, people like to have fun using console commands due to already completing the game already.
There are however a lot of cheaters in MP which ruins the game.
It is what it is, it is a shame that a lot more mature people do not play the game and not ruin it for others.

There are some mature people who play the MP, like Salamander for instance

If you're looking for MP with "mature" folk perhaps hit him up.. Don't see why him or any other of the "mature" folk would have a problem with it.

Unfortunately, Snake has burned most of his bridges with the "mature" Doom crowd - and one of the most notorious (and admitted on these very forums, multiple times over - mods, remember that when this post is reported) Doom cheaters is on his friendslist several times over thanks to alts.

As much as an olive branch might be the mature thing to do, unfortunately that is not like to ever happen.

Obviously OP is talking about campaign cheats ofc which is entirely up to him, just a shame in terms of MP that trolls have to ruin it :-\
