Stuck in Fan Room trying to get to Lazarus Elevator

Greetings!

OK, I'm completely stuck. Im trying to reach the Lazurus Elevator but I am stuck in a tiny octagonal room with a fan unit near the ceiling. I have tried everything but I just cannot jump up and get through the hole in the ceiling. What am I doing wrong?

Which level is it?

There is a switch that lowers a platform right in the middle. It is unusable until you clear the room. It's in the upper walkway that is around the edge of the room.

or if not this and you mean the room where you can see the weapon upgrade drone through a mesh, there is a hatchway just ubove the fan blades, yoo can climb up there using the panels on the outer walls, get ready for a hl moment ;]]

You know, I think the last commenter is right and I was thinking of a different room. The room I'm thinking of didn't have a fan, and wasn't tiny.

For the life of me i can't climb through. The other day i did it and quit and today it did not save so I had to do it again but, this time nothing works again.

Double jump? Where ever I point? run and jump? Stand and jump

Oh crap dude. You mean where you have to turn on the fan and you float up like freakin charlie bucket and grandpa joe? There is a switch in the hallway on the wall outside the fan room.

It seems to confuse many people, but it is not the fan room with the switch, it is the first "Octagonal Room" you have to get through where the short entrance tunnel is.

And the solution is Finnicky as Hell,
Climb onto the side wall with "Number 1) jump on the Fan Mechanism
Jump Strait Up and at the last second turn L or R a bit and hit your second jump ...

trial and error,

Now I hit another "Above Hole" on a further missionand it is also just as FInnicky
