How to run benchmark tests?
Is there a reference demo used for performance testing in doom 2016?
i.e timedemo mydemo. Like in the previous versions?

No timedemo, no.

There are several SnapMaps made for benching.

The best way track and graph FPS numbers is to use Presentmon with a front-end.

Doom is relatively useless as a benchmark to be honest though. It has tons of frame sync issues, an oddball texture caching system that magnifies storage bottlenecks, and a hard 200FPS cap that isn't all that hard to hit at 1080p.
