Using just OBS classic.
Well ive been using the OBS studio with no issues, the preview window gets buggy/laggy at times but thats just due to open gl from what ive read, as far as streaming it has no impact on fps/gameplay. If not you can try running OBS and the game as an admin but you might already of tried that..
Video bit rate is 2500, frame rate 30 fps, base res is 2560x1440 but scaled to 720p.
Strangely OBS seems to not be using my CPU much at all when running it, but Doom CPU usage goes way way up.
I'm using game capture, typically that's supposed to have the best performance.
Also I turned on the Ultra-Nightmare FPS settings in game, and my cores are not even being fully utilized actually. I will try monitor mode.
I will add I have mine set to display capture, 2600 bit, 60 fps 720p
Okay guys I got it working well. I did what ZigZack does and I switched it to record my monitor rather than the application. Works well now! Thanks everyone for the help.
Good to hear buddy !!!!
