Steam -> Help -> System information -> Cut and paste the info here.
Things you should try :
- Go to C:\Users\User\Saved Games\id Software\DOOM\base and delete the config files. Both of them. Try again.
- Verify the integrity of the game files on Steam.
- The 99% menu loading crash can be caused by a software running in the background. We seen this before here. Software like Sonic Studio, Duet Display. So be sure that no non essentials programs are running. Just close down everything you don't need.
Let me know if this doesn't work and don't forget to post the steam specs.
I had the same issue. I didn't have eother Sonic Studio or Duet Display download or installed so the deleting the config files worked out for me. If you were using Vulkan it will put you back to the OpenGL API. You will probably notice an fps decrease. Maybe its because of Vulkan?
I couldnt find the steam-help-system info but I tried everything else you listed and it looks like deleteing the config files fixed it! thank you!
EDIT Nevermind, as soon as i switched it back to Vulkan it BSOD. Guess ill just keep it in Open GL?
Keep it in OpenGL for the moment but i would like that steam system info.
Click on Steam and go to the store. If you look at the top you can see (Steam, View, Friends, Games, Help). Click on help and in that there is a system information. Open that and cut and paste the info here.
