I don't think there is much more to say other than in the topic name. I can only add that the arcade game mode is throwing numbers and sounds in my face (which i obviously cannot turn off or reduce).
This is something that takes away from the action and the main experience of the gameplay itself. I don't need to and don't want to be reminded that I am a good FPS player (which these featueres are trying to achieve, as it seems). Score multiplier on top and score bar on the right side seem to do their job just fine and they are not abstructing the view, unlike GIANT sodding number flying off when you kill someone. And these numbers are especially annoying as they are obstructing the view and it's hard to dodge bloody fireballs flying at you!

Outside of that the arcade mode idea is neat! I do love the idea and will gladly play more of it once it doesn't have experience ruining "features".

I sincerely hope this thread will get attention and arcade mode will get a fix for these issues. But for now I am going to return to running the game on ultra-nightmare which so far seems to be the most pleasant way to play it!

Its all part of arcade mode (the in your face stuff), otherwise you may as well just replay an ordinary chapter.

I know. Still, this is not a good thing not being able to control the sound effects. The only way to turn them down is to turn down overall game volume.
And fyi, this game mode punishes you for taking damage, which is a good thing but it makes dodging less effective by obstructing the view whenever you kill someone, especially with a glory kill.
