DOOM
Using Dual Monitors with Doom 4
Hi. I am new to the community. My name is Mike. I just bought a EGA 1050TI video card. I have Dual Monitors. One is a 27" Dell and the other is a Acer 20" monitor. My question is can I use one screen for Doom and the other for the internet when i need help at certain points. When I start Doom and the program loads the mouse will stay on the Doom monitor. It wont slide over the second monitor. Any advise would be appreciated. Thanks.

Run in full screen windowed mode and then when you want to go to the other monitor hit escape and go to the menu. I believe you should be able to draf the mouse pointer over the. It's been a while since I have played so not certain.

Ok. Sorry, but i have been playing Doom since the early 90's. The first Doom game was called Doom. I have placed all the Doom games except this one. So i was trying to make sure the community knew which game i was talking about.

Alt tabbing is the only way I've been able to multi task while keeping the game running..

Alt-Tab worked. Thanks you very much. I have searched the internet and found nothing. Bethesda Software could not give an answer. Awesome.

if u open the console a windows cursor will appear like in all games with an id-tech engine. with alt-enter u can switch between window and fullscreen. thats the usual way to reach ur desktop or an second monitor without losing sight to ur game window. if u close the console in the game window u will get back game control...

Most games I play I just hit escape and go the menu screen and I can then just drag my mouse over to the second monitor. There are a couple of games that don't work that way though.
