Ps4 controller problems

I use big picture mode and whenever i move the controller it move the cursor on the screen, like a gyro thing. i just want it to be like normal games and the right stick moves the camera instead of moving the whole controller up and down physically moving the camera, its very very annoying and kinda stupid, any idea on how to fix it?

Use a different Steam controller profile or completely disable the Steam controller profile. I believe that Doom supports the PS4 controller natively.

so just boot it up without big picture mode?

Right click the game in your library, select properties, then go under controller settings.

If you want to look at different profiles, I'm not familiar with the specifics - you'll have to rely on Google for that.
