yes
No probs, DOOM is really spec-friendly, BUT there will be RANDOM frame drops at RANDOM points on the map.

Take a look here. DOOM's down near the bottom of the gaming benchmarks

Play the demo.

My favorite resource for checking games, personally, is Game Debate. You sign up for a free account and can save your computers specs and it will automatically compare it to the recommended and minimum specs.

There's the rare occasion where something will be off with the site, though the only thing I ran into was a games minimum specs being higher than what's on. Steam. In the process of downloading a demo to figure out what's what with that.

The best resource for checking games is youtube. There is always someone with the same specs playing the game. So you can literally look at how it plays instead of just looking at some numbers on a chart.

Then remove around 30% performance from the GDDR5.

Anyway there is a demo.

Run the demo of the game, you can find it on the same page of the store.

Jesus, they released a DDR3 version of that?

That's a new low, even for nVidia and shady vendors.

Honestly, sell that laptop for whatever you can get, and get something else. Whoever sold it to you ripped you off immensely.

Yeah not worth it to experience doom that way if you do get the game running. It won't be enjoyable.

Bro i couldn't find a gddr5 version considering they don't sell the same acer aspire 5 and e15 and whatever in europe laptops and such are way more expensive i didn't expect to run doom and such high graphics i just want a decent laptop for light gaming i'll buy a gaming dekstop myself when i get older i could've bought a gaming dekstop for i think 100 more but i need that laptop for school also i wasn't expecting a beast of a 1080 in that thing and don't care if i need to play in low i only care about fun not graphics plus selling that thing would make me look like a spoiled brat who doesn't appreciate anything from his parents

And it was still a pointless card to release. GDDR3 has been obsolete since like 2007.
