Can I Run This Game on an AMD Radeon R7 M265 graphics card?

My computer meets (edit: some of the) recommended specs except my graphics card. When I compare my graphics card even to the minimum AMD one, it's not as good.

I am running Windows 10 64bit, i7-5500U, 8GB RAM, AMD Radeon R7 M265 graphics

Those of you who are more familiar with the game and graphics stuff, is this a case where I can turn the graphics down low and still enjoy the game?

Deus Ex Mankind Divided is probably the only more recent game I have tried playing where I had to turn everything off and the resolution down all the way for it to work at all. Most stuff works ok.

EDIT: tl;dr version is a few things suggested here worked to make the demo playable, I bought the game, installed it, entered the exact same settings as the demo, and the FPS dropped 50%. Vulkan crashed in Demo but then worked in actual game, brought FPS back up. Now playable.

AMD 7850k Soc APU R7 250 , ( this is NOT Mobile )
2 gig VRAM ( ALL from system memory )

runs at 720p with Vulkan .
Low 30's to Low 40's is typical . 25 is minimum fps .

Shadows LOW , Motion Blur OFF , Virtual Texture cache size MEDIUM ,
TXS8AA . everything else is Ultra .

Looks real good , runs good .

more CPU clock does NOT help here . i run the CPU clock at 1.7 Ghz .

Vulkan and 720p are the 2 biggest fps boosters .

Ah sheiss that's what I get for trying to figure it all out on my own- someone had told me i7 was always better than i5, didn't know that was not the case so I didn't even look. Thanks for the correction and info!

the only thing that even meets minimum requirements is your amount of system ram.

do not waste your time and money trying to play any half way demanding modern games on the R7 M265 as it is garbage. min requirements for game like this are several times higher than that pos.

I run with my AMD A8 + Radeon R5 with low minimum settings + Vulkan. I got 30fps :) it is still playable and fun !

With a mix of medium and low settings I'd imagine it'll work. Turn the resolution down to 720p and use FXAA.

Sorry y'all I didn't buy it yet. I am finishing something first. Want to make sure I can play it to return it in time if it doesn't. It seems to go on sale once a month. So, now I know and will update when I buy :-)

Get the Demo on the Steam Store Page .
big "Download Demo" button , about 8 gig .

Well, I downloaded the Demo (thanks, wakeme) and tried just lowering the general video settings and giving it a shot. A lot of lag. So, I then when into Vulkan and changed the settings per directexperience's video posted above aaaaaaaaand it crashed on restart. Now it won't open at all without crashing.

I'm gonna try reinstalling and figuring it out but things are not looking good. -_-

Just to point out he said 5500, not 5500u.

In other words his cpu is more than powerful enough because it is not the undervolted laptop version.

There have been a lot of issues with the new update. You might wanna wait a bit to see if theres a fix. Or obtain an older version. ;D

Nah I accidentally left the U off, edited now and fixed, that person was right. I have the laptop version. Waw waw. I'll hope for update fixes though!

Dang, even after uninstalling and reinstalling it's still crashing. Guess I'm screwed. For now at least.
