There's no FPS cap, so you've got to upgrade your PC or lower the graphics settings.

it goes up to 200 fps, your pc is just trash

I run singleplayer at ultra high aliasing and get constant 180 fps

144hz used to work, but now it seems to be capped at 60fps. It appears to be a bug introduced in a recent patch.

Turn off V-sync

I have no problems with Doom and most of the time having 200FPS with everything maxed out with a GTX 1080.

Also if you turning off v sync, make sure, to restart the game, as it caused me screen tearing, but when I restarted the game, the tearing stopped and having a smooth and awesome gameplay.

Turns out it's a bug with old saves. If I start a new game, it runs at 144 FPS. However, no matter what I do, my old save-file runs at 60 FPS.

I've sent a bug report to the developers with repro steps; hopefully they fix this soon.
