How can I use heat blast of plazma rifle?

I upgraded Super Heated Rounds and Improved Venting,
but dont' know which key I should press to use it.
Which button of key board should I press?
And...
what is heat blast?
What can I see when I use it?

Isn't it just the right click like all other secondary fire modes???

Right click. You should see a blue heatwave disperse from the center of your vision. You can only use it when the circle around your crosshair is blue at least partially.

they mean u have to use alternate fire ;)
if u have customized ur key mappings its probably not right click...
hold alternate/secondary fire and press primary fire when it is fully loaded

It has to charge up first. There is an upgrade that allows it to charge automatically but until then just fire of a few primary rounds until it charges and then secondary fire it. Of course you have to equip it like the other weapons by pressing 'R' first.
