As a professional tech support. I ask the Specs and some details about the problem before even starting to help troubleshoot. It's good to know i won't be wasting my time in case you have a toaster. That's why i ask first.

I use Malewarebytes Anti-Maleware for anti maleware. I haven't touched it since I got the computer in January and I do my best to avoid anything that could give me a virus. Windows 10 did an automatic update at one point in August which I believe is around the time the problem began to occur. I don't play Doom's multiplayer very much, but lately I've been getting framedrops when playing some of my maps in SnapMap which is very recent. This wasn't a problem before a few weeks ago I'd say. I should mention that at one point around September I lowered a lot of graphics options and this seemed to help for a time before the problem came back. It's better when I set the screen resolution to the lowest possible (I think 1280 by 600 or something like that) but setting it to the highest (1600 by 900) is a nightmare.
