doom is cloud save?

Is Doom a Cloud Saver? I downloaded and played on an external hard disk, and I bought an external hard disk because I had to download it from another ip's computer and then reset my progress. However, I just re-run the steam warning that I couldn't sync to the cloud, and all my progress was initialized. It was my eight hours. I'd like to know if this is a simple error or if Doom doesn't support the cloud-saving approach.

Doom does use steam cloud.

You can turn off sync if you so wish to my friend.
It is in Steam part of game properties, where you go to updates and tick the box for sync my friend.

It was likely a simple error - Doom does support cloud sync.

HOWEVER - it has been known to corrupt saves and config files.

I'd recommend clicking on the game properties and disabling cloud sync if you don't need it.

OP you are much better disabling cloud sync as stated by salamand3r

for me, it just restores the folder text files and images but NOT the binary .save file. I would say Doom 3 cloud save is totally broke.
