What exactly does "Virtual Texture Page Size" change?
Messing with the settings, I can't notice that they change much if not anything. Does this setting change texture quality, or am I confused? Reading about it, it seems like it has something to do with the size of one giant texture used, so does making it bigger increase texture quality?

It's more performance than quality. With a capable computer you may not see a difference at all, but those with low ram cards and slower components would want to keep this lower to reduce things like stutter or texture pop-in.

Linked above gives a very detailed description of the technique with examples and links out to demonstrations and further info.

It manages the amount of texture memory needed for the changing scenes being rendered. Increasing it cuts down on how much texture information needs to be swapped out as you move around.

Thanks for the explanation!

Very detailed and informative!

Why does it have higher setting if it only impacts performance and it runs better at the lower settings?
