DOOM starting on wrong monitor

Doom has suddenly begun loading on my alt screen. How do I get it to load back onto my main monitor?

This is a rather makeshift idea but it used to work for me. Before loading DOOM take the hdmi cable out of your second moniter, launch DOOM. It will work on your main one. Then just plug the second back in.

or...you could like.....go into your video settings and like.....switch it from there? duh?

Yeah, that was the first thing I tried and it did not work. It didn't even work when I unplugged the monitor. I had to unplug it and then reboot before it would default back to monitor 1. Once that happened, it's working fine now with both monitors on and it goes to Monitor 1 as it should. My pc had a brief identity crisis and forgot who was number one. It's all sorted out now. Thanks!

So today a fresh install of DOOM on a fresh installed PC is swapping screens around like mad. I start it, it's on my secondary screen, called Screen2 by the option. I change it to Screen 1 and it appears on my main monitor. OK. Several hours later I start it again and it appears on my secondary screen AGAIN! This time the options say this is Screen 1. NO? IT'S NOT, you piece of ****! Why can't this crap software display on the screen I want it to and keep it's settings ffs? I'm fed up with nonsense like this.

C:\Users\User\Saved Games\id Software\DOOM\base

Restart the game.
