Keyboard and Mouse no longer light up with in-game razer chroma disabled

I have a razer keyboard and mouse set up to use a specific colour profile, upon starting DOOM it overrides my profile with the flashing red and white until I go into settings to disable chroma in-game, but then my keyboard and mouse go totally dark and don't illuminate until I exit DOOM. I like to play in the dark but I also like seeing my keyboard, I just want to play with my default colour profile like I do in every other game. Also, even with chroma disabled in-game, it still shows the red and white flashing while the game starts up.

hmmmmmmmm,seems you're stuck in a pickle then,disabling chroma will most likely give you a big performance boost,but at the cost of pretty lights,idk man,up to you,(quite possibly) a stuttery hell or pretty lights

Have you restarted your computer since making the changes? My razer kb still lights up with chroma disabled. Also, if your running the razer software on your desktop, check settings in the application.

Or unnstall the software and reinstall, could be driver issues re hardware.

I would see if there was a 3rd party driver you can use. I know there is one for linux, so it wouldn't be a stretch to see one for windows.

I figured it out. You have to go into Synapse and disable the doom Synapse app. In synapse 3 its under the connect tab.
