DOOM x Razer x Hue lamps - How to fix / deactivate ?? HELP

Yesterday i saw that razer synapse v3 can control my Philips Hue lamps ... so happy to test.. i installed razer chroma and it works perfectly :)

Anyway, I shutted off the link to Hue Bridge in razer settings because i don't need it all the time :)

Today I launched Doom .... holy hell !! ... Doom took the control of my lamps and by-passed razer settings !! ...

-> And more important: the game is cazy weird !! 100 fps with hitches at 20 fps ... :O


I WANT TO DISABLE THIS BUT I DONT KNOW HOW !!! PLEASE HELP !!!

-> I deactivate the control in Razer Chroma Control for DOOM
- Lamp are not anymore controlled :)
- But DOOM is always with ugly hitches !!!

=> The only way I got things back working was to fully uninstall all Razer stuff !

It seems i will pass my time to install/uninstall razer stuff !!?
I was planning to buy razer keyboard, mouse, mat and headset, but now with this insane bug, I don't think is a good idea to buy razer actually...

So if someone at Razer / Bethesda read this => Fix it please !!!

I can't figure how did you let this feature so badly synchonized in your DOOM !!! :P

Chroma should only cause hitches in Doom when enabled, not when disabled.

Make sure Doom is running in Vulkan mode.

The hitching is usually tied to Doom's Chroma support.

Not sure what is going on with your install.

We're not talking about Synapse and Razer's products. DOOM has a setting in the keyboard and mouse settings to activate the game's chroma effects. Turn that off and things should get back to normal for you.

I didn't know there was another settings also in the game!! :o

(Why in mouse/keyboard? I am using lights! That was unfortunately and totaly not evident for me! Haha)

I looked on ggl->reddit about my razer problem but i didn't done the right search I think!
They just say disable "razer chroma" ...... for me it was the settings in the synapse application on the Connect/Apps tab the line with DOOM ! :p
After all it's the Razer manager app !! no ?

This feature do not works yet in fact ! Why do not remove or disable by default this stupid feature ! ROFL !

(Seriously, I was not far to epilepsy when i lauched DOOM first time! My lamps (old Hue bulb v1, i will replace with v2) goes crasy with the "fire and flame" effect!!! It is the reason I deactivated Hue in settings !!! Doom must not by pass user settings without any confimation: it is not healthy if not illegal !!! haha :( )

Damn, thanks Wrath* - I read "-> I deactivate the control in Razer Chroma Control for DOOM " as having done it in game - you picked up the contextual clues just a bit better I guess...
