Am I the only one who thinks this Doom's Cyberdemon looks rather goofy?

I don't know I am just hoping they make it less goofy in Doom Eternal.

They've always looked kinda goofy imo, but I prefer the old style of cyberdemon regardless. I have a friend who will strongly agree with you as well.

I love the game as is, but I feel at the very least Doom 3 had a much better art style in terms of the Demons. Like Imps here could have looked more demonic and less alien here. Give them horns and tails and they'll look like little demons for sure.

Alot of Doom fans actually agree that he looks goofy. Despite me preferring the old look as well, I kinda don't care and enjoyed the boss fight anyway.

Hey if you think thats bad try the boss at the end of wolfenstein which was robot hitler :P or that janky boss in rise of the traid lol. Boss are ment to be weird crazy idea's that make it unique enough for you to call it a boss. Unless it's a confusing massive headbanger like snake and bigboss .. lol. Even the boss at the stadium in duke nukem forever was a cartoony mess that you were happy to rip it's eyes out an touchdown!

Cyberdemons always tended to look goofy if you got up close to them, from the constipated face and absurdly shrimpy chest on the classic CD to the Cookie Monster mouth on the D64 CD to D3's giant fish tail sticking out of his head. D2016's no different with the stumpy legs and the "deep-fried fossil" aesthetic. Personally I think that adds to the charm

I'd like to see a cyberdemon with the body of Scarlett Johnsson, the head of Anne Hathaway and the tail of a velociraptor. Why not? Hell is magic and can do anything! Even if it clashes with all things artistically or in good taste. The kiddy platformer cyberdemon is your personal hell to deal with. Haven't you heard of the banality of HELL'S evil?

Back on topic, more reports made, yes OP I have to agree with you that they do differ and the later one does have a more comical effect. I guess it caters more to the younger audience.
