Use Vulkan.
i get the exact same fps on low so..
You can literally see the important bits in the original post... OK maybe it's a driver issue, maybe not...
+1. Pretty much any half decent quad core CPU or better, 16GB RAM, 1060 6GB, should be able to hit nightmare settings using Vulkan.
no . there are bits of info that leaves me guess . lik desktop or lapop? . 1 or 2 video cads ? ddr3 ir ddr4 ram? version /build driver .
PS i hope that anyone thinking to help knows how with out the info ?
DDR3 or 4 doesn't matter in most games. Certainly doesn't matter in this one.
He says he has " a gtx 1060 6gb," which would imply there's only 1 video card.
I mentioned the drivers... Which I'll address in a moment...
As it happens...
For starters, wipe your drivers with DDU and roll back to 390.77.
When installing the drivers, choose the custom install option.
DON'T install geforce experience, 3d vision, hd audio or any other crap. JUST install the graphics driver and physx (don't think you need physx for Doom, but you'll probably need it for something else).
Try launching with Vulkan again. Let me know how you get on.

Really.
In the vast majority of games what matters is how much RAM you have (do you have room to spare, or is it running at nearly capacity?), NOT how fast it is. 16GB DDR3 will beat 8GB DDR4 9 times out of 10.
I'm still using DDR3 and getting over 100fps in game...
My settings and a couple of screenies:

(last one is an old one, might have been done before I realised there was a nightmare setting for virtual texture size, the rest were taken minutes ago).
Get a little bit of slow down if I stream it (old video, but should give you some idea):

What's holding me back is my old AMD CPU. Haven't got around to trying doom out on my Ryzen rig yet...
Now lets look at your system info. I'll blank out all the bits that don't matter (at all):
CPU info for instance, we already know everything that's listed, because we know the model of the CPU (overclocking can change this obviously).
So while it's simple to post it, it's pointless. Junk data that's not needed.
IF you know the basic specs: CPU, amount of RAM, Graphics Card, that's plenty of information to speculate how well a game should run.
Steam info is just a trimmed down dxdiag. A huge chunk of the info simply isn't required in most instances (and if was, I'd ask for the proper dxdiag instead).
That applies to most games. There's a few (big open world games like Fallout 4 and SkyrimSE are good examples) where faster RAM will give you a perceivable improvement in performance, but even there limited amounts of RAM will hurt more than slower RAM.
Steam info also doesn't include things that could be vital. Power supply info for instance...
The amount of times I see people running on the bare minimum power supply their graphics card needs, and they wonder why after a few months the system keeps performing like ♥♥♥♥, or crashing...
You might spend days trying to help someone fix a problem, only to find out you've been wasting your time because they're using a Corsair VS 550 power supply to run a GTX 1080...
OK. I'm done
TL/DR... Get the basic info first. It's quicker to process, and simpler to work with. Remember the acronym: KISS (Keep It Simple, Stupid).
im not going to adrees every thing you blacked out and why users on here ask for it (search the form ) and the end )
One picture says it all
you had yours here is mine

its a known issue caused by the win10 creators update. it will damage some driver files sometimes and u cant repair it with a simple installation of new drivers... usually the solution is to use DDU to do a clean driver wipe and reinstall the latest drivers again. the drivers and ur card supports vulkan...
this solution is mentioned several times on this forum
